I would like to congratulate Dr.Chithra Ramakrishnan and everyone else involved in the successful launch of the British Carnatic Choir (BCC) every success. The choir will bring the classical music of South to a wider audience here in the UK. It will be particularly important for younger people from Indian backgrounds, who will be able to enjoy and take pride in their cultural heritage and share this with other communities in multi-cultural Britain.
